Set the Pause Screen Timer on the phone

Press Pause Screen Timer onto your screen and twist the dial from 1-60 minutes. Your session begins.

Your Screen is Paused

Scrolling isn’t possible for the time you set. Calls and texts can still be sent and received.

Removing the Pause Screen Timer when the session is complete

When the timer ends, Pause releases. You can use your phone again.

I had a screen time problem. So I built something to fix it.

But not without a lot of failed attempts first. I’ve been obsessed with technology since I was a kid. Computers. Gadgets. Software.

But somewhere along the way, the thing I loved started controlling me. Any moment of boredom, my hand would reach for my phone. No decision. It just happened. Unlock. Scroll. Close. Repeat.
