“I’ve deleted every focus app. You can’t argue with a physical lock — that’s why it works.”

“I’m a software engineer — I know how these apps are built to hook you. A physical device is the only thing that beat them.”

How It Works

1. Set The Time

Press Pause Screen Timer onto your screen and twist the dial from 1-60 minutes. Your session begins.

2. Your Screen Is Paused

Scrolling isn’t possible for the time you set. Calls and texts can still be sent and received.

3. Session Complete

When the timer ends, Pause releases. You can use your phone again.

Where Pause Helps Most

Person in bed looking at phone, digital clock shows 3:02 AM.

Late Nights

You want to sleep, but you keep scrolling – and suddenly it's 3 AM.

Mid-Work Escape

The second a task gets difficult or boring, you reach for your phone to escape.

Mindless Checking

You check your phone on autopilot, then lose more time than you meant to.

Morning Scroll

You check your phone before you're even fully awake – and suddenly your first hour is gone.
